Saying Goodbye to the zoology Gallery July 22 2011

Next Thursday 28 July, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery staff members Belinda Bauer and Kathryn Medlock will be presenting a slideshow of the history of the Zoology Gallery to TMAGgots members, before it is refurbished for the TMAG redevelopment. We’re going to be sad to say goodbye to the diorama, which has formed the backdrop of a majority of the more than fifty TMAGgots events I have hosted. But much like the mega fauna, exhibits become outdated, and it will be terrific to see the ceiling lifted to it’s original position.
