Why Ride Campaign July 26 2011

Do you ride your bike, walk or catch a bus to work? If you are in town today, head down to Mawson Pavilion where we are photographing people to form a team of glamorous poster-children for Liam Correy’s Why Ride Campaign.

The project is supported by the Hobart, Launceston and Burnie city councils, the Tasmanian Bicycle Council, and many other community groups, as it is a message about road safety and sustainable transport which is relevant to us all.

Jack Robert-Tissot is both photographer and model for this daring campaign, which will shortly adorn the side of a fleet of buses in the south, north and north-west of the State. Look out also for the Why Ride website, which is being currently developed by those cool kids who did our site, Joshua Lamont Design.
