In the last fortnight we received two gold design awards at the local Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards, as well as 'Site of the Day' recognition from Awwwards.

How good is laser cutting! Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser, by computer, at the material to be cut. The material then burns away, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish. I have been playing around with this finishing technique for the cover of an annual report, and there are a couple of technical tricks I've recently discovered...

If you are in town today, head down to Mawson Pavilion where we are photographing people to form a team of glamorous poster-children for Liam Correy's Why Ride Campaign. The campaign is supported by the Hobart, Launceston and Burnie city councils, the Tasmanian Bicycle Council, and many other community groups.
